Last Blog

I am so happy this semester is about to be over. My classes were for the most part all very boring and irritating. English was never my favorite subject, but I came to like it a little more this semester. I have learned what genre and trajectory means and how to close read. Close reading is something that I knew already, but I did not know what the actual name was. I will use close reading for the rest of my life while doing school work or any form of reading. Close reading helps to simplify the reading into terms that I better understand. The thing that I like most about this class was our weekly blogs. These gave us a way to continuous write and express ourselves in the form of writing. These blogs were like diaries in a way and when I was little I always loved to write in my diary. I am so happy I do not have to take another English class ever again; I have had enough of taking the same classes over and over again ever year. I cannot wait until I start taking my major classes, because this is what I have been waiting for my entire life.  General Education courses are just a way for the state to keep us in school longer, so they can get more money from us. I now official have 3 more years until I graduate and start my career and it could not come fast enough.  I am ready to become a nurse and start living my life. I am really tired of school, but I have to do what I have to in order to accomplish my goals I life. This year actually went by very fast, hopefully these next 3 year do too.

Today’s blog is supposed to be on a random topic, so I decided to write about nothing. I don’t know how I am going to spread this essay about nothing to 300 words, but I guess I am going to make it work. Right now I am watching Spongebob, while trying to continuously type this essay about nothing. I am actually kind of tired right now; I plan on taking a nap as soon as I am done with this essay. Actually I might go to Ihop, because I am hungrier, than tired right now. I know you are probably getting bored or irritated while reading this essay, but I’m sorry because I truly have nothing better else to write about. When writing these blogs are they supposed to be grammatically correct? If they are I am probably failing right now. One of my biggest problems I have when writing an essay is deciding whether or not I am using correct grammar. I kind of just went off subject, so back to writing about nothing. Everything that I am writing is either what I am thinking or doing as I am writing this blog. So this is actually hilarious to me, because I am so bored right now and I am literally thinking about nothing at all. As you can see have a short attention span, I can go from one subject to another in the instant of a second. My brother keeps distracting me while I am trying to finish. He just recently moved down here, because he got a job. We both work at Sam's Club, so this should be very interesting having both of us work together. I think it will be fun, because we both are really goofy and we always have a good time when we are together. He will be attending Heartland in the fall and hopefully he plans to stay out here for a while.  Well, guess what this the end of both of our miserable journeys, I am done writing and you are finally done reading this essay about NOTHING.

I am doing this blog right now, because I forgot it was due today. I had a fun night that may be the reason why I forgot the blog was due today. I went to the Alpha probate last night and it was like a big party on the quad. A probate for those of you who do not know is when fraternities and sororities induct new members. They had made it like a club scene, on the quad, and it was just an amazing night. Aside from that I am really excited to be done with this semester. I do not know why I am so excited, because I am staying down here for summer school, but I still am. I will be taking three classes this summer and working, so it does not look like I will be having too much fun. I do plan on going to Wisconsin in July and Six Flags next month. Those are really the only fun things I will be doing. I almost forgot my favorite little cousin is going on prom next month, so that is something else I have to look forward to. I am supposed to be getting a car real soon so if that happens I will be driving home on all of my off days. I am still kind of sad that I will be attending summer school, because I miss my friends and this is the only time that we all have to be with each other. Hopefully, they will come down here and stay with me for a couple of weeks, I would be really happy if they do.  I know who ever is reading this is like she is just talking about anything, which is true but I tend to say whatever comes to my mind anyway.

Writing Style

Whenever I have written a paper I begin by thinking of a catchy way to begin. Most of the time I sit around for hours stuck and have no idea where to begin. For example, right now. I tend to take over 2 hours just to begin, because once I have one creative thought the rest just come right after that.  I may write an entire paragraph and then delete it, because I know I can come up with something way better. When I finally come up with an introductory paragraph, I begin to search the web for sources that support my point of view. Finding sources that support my thesis is usually really easy, but doing the work cited page is hard. My work sited page is always the last thing I do, because I really do not know how to do it. Even when I use different websites to help me, I still end up doing something wrong. But back to the steps I take to make my paper. After finding supportive sources I break down my thesis statement and explain in more detail about each topic. I try to make each topic flow into each other, so I try to arrange them in the perfect way. I also read various articles to help me arrange my essay the right way.  I always try to make all of my papers interesting, because who wants to read a boring paper, I do not even want to write a boring one. These are basically the steps I take when writing a paper. They may all seem very simple, because they are but this is my writing style. Although, I do not think I am very good at English I tend to do very well overall. I just have to stay focus and continuously read over it to ensure everything is perfect.
